We’ve all heard, “you get what you pay for”, and “never take the bottom bidder” but how then are we to make that decision?Consider getting three bids, just three.  We could make a decision based on price (assuming we don’t choose the lowest nor the highest bidder) and hope that the contractor with the middle bid is a quality business person.  What then do we do if we choose two or four contractors to bid on the project??
